Ok We know that if you race motorcycles or ATV’s having an offroad Utility Vehicle like the Kawasaki Mule or the Yamaha Rhino can be invaluable. Hauling your extra wheels and tires, some tools and a cooler or what ever else you might need. There are a million reasons to have a utility vehicle and almost as many choices when it comes to accessories or addon’s.

In 2009 Honda released their version of a Utility vehicle that pulls its weight in gold. How ever finding factory OEM replacement paarts has not been easy, especially for those of us who like to shop online for parts. I have been searching for months to locate a website that had the OEM parts diagrams. I finally found the website that has the OEM honda Big Red MUV700 parts diagrams. It looks like PartsFish.com just released it on their website. Whats even cooler about the Parts Fish Honda Big Red Diagrams is the first page, they have thumbnailed all the diagram choices makeing is really simple to find what I need to get my Honda Big Red tuned up. I have not broken mine yet but I really wanted to order the basics like an air filter, oil filter and a few other things.

I am telling you you need to check out the Parts Fiche Page for the Honda Big Red they did a great job laying it out and making it simple to use.

    Arenacross Series Wrap Up 2010

Just a quick update from the Arenacross series. Storm Lake Honda rider Ricky Draper recently completed the first 3 legs of the tour, traveling from Grand Rapids to Baltimore and most recently, Hampton, Virginia. This week the series lands a little closer to home at Kansas City’s Kemper Arena for a one night show. Draper, who has been racing the East Lites rounds as warm ups, will now begin his quest of an Arenacross Lites West Regional Championship. During the first three rounds, Ricky earned enough points for his AMA Pro license and will be competing the Outdoor Nationals after the conclusion of the Arenacross series. Draper has finished a career-high 8th place on two occasions this year. “I’ve been running a top 5 pace and my qualifying times are right there, but man I’ve got to get some better starts! That’s Arenacross, right? I just about had that holeshot last Saturday…we’ll see how KC goes then Tulsa.”

While the team hammers out the details for the outdoor series, some additional good news has come in the way of title sponsorship for the Arenacross season and possibly beyond. American Payment Systems will introduce their newest product, the PinPoint Card next month and has made the race team a pivotal part of its marketing program. When your company needs a merchant account, American Payment Systems offers quick approvals, lower rates, free pos equipment, and top rated customer service. Results from the 2010 Arenacross Season in Grand Rapids, MI Friday Jan 8th 2010.

From the looks of it, if the rest of the 2010 Arenacross season goes like Friday night’s race did then Jeff Gibson and Chad Johnson will be battling head to head the entire season. Jeff Gibson got the holeshot and lead all but the final 2  & 1/2 laps as former Tuf Racing team Member and Former Arenacross National Champion Chad Johnson now riding a Kawasaki for Team Kawasaki Monster Energy Babbitts pressured Gibson and made the pass and made it stick winning round one in Grand Rapids. Jeff Gibson and team Manager Tracin Seng will no doubt take a look at what then need to do to improve upon to take the win Saturday Night for round 2.
Check www.arenacross.com Saturday Night and sit in on the Live Chat.

Also 2009 Lites Central Arenacross Champion stepped up his game and proved that he is #1 for a reason winning the AX Lites class round one in Grand Rapids. Team mate Ricky Draper from Bellevue, Ne finished a respectable 12th place out of 16. Let look for Ricky to make it into the top 10 Saturday night.

Storm Lake Honda's National Arenacross Team gets ready for the 2010 Season

The travel actually started in Brookings, South Dakota at the Midwest Supercross over Thanksgiving weekend. The team, led by reigning Arenacross Lites Central Champion Kurt McCabe, departed the great white north immediately following the Saturday night races for the greener, warmer pastures of central Florida. McCabe’s teammate Ricky Draper made his return to racing in South Dakota after a long lay off due to shoulder surgery and happily joined the trip, along with team technician Jason Vaith (www.vaithcycle.com). Minnesota’s Nick Jackson hopped on board as well, stepping in for our injured friend and teammate Brian Foster.
McCabe’s hopes of a smooth trip were jolted almost immediately when a run-in with Team Faith’s Kevin Johnson put him on the ground and in some pain. McCabe tried to ride with an injured hand and arm but crashed himself out of competition (he was running 4th) during one of the main events. Draper raced his way into both mains and had a great start in the 250 final, getting out in 4th place. He soldiered on to a 10th place finish despite tiring a little in only his second race in over 6 months. “Just making the mains against these guys…I mean…wow, I’ll take 10th all day,” exclaimed Draper, who acknowledged he has some endurance to catch up on. “Obviously, the speed is there, just need to get some wind back!”
The team left Florida for GPF (Georgia Practice Facility) for some training on the pro-only set up. After riding for a few days there, they left for Morristown, Tennessee for round two of the FMF Indoor Winter Series. McCabe merely spectated, still nursing a sore ankle, but his tutelage with the young Draper may have sparked a turning point. In a nasty crash during a heat race it was initially thought Ricky had broken his jaw. The EMTs insisted on a trip to the hospital, but a stubborn Draper refused. After consulting with his veteran teammate, Ricky popped a few advil and took his badly swollen chin and tongue to the victory in his 450 LCQ. His third place finish was good enough to get him into the 250 main as well.
During night two, Draper scored a second place finish in his 250 heat and 5th on the 450, so no LCQs! After a poor start (14th) in the 250 main, Draper was pushing through the pack, but while attempting a pass for 7th place he lost the front tire and slid out of contention. “Ricky was on it tonight,” said Vaith. “It’s one of those things where the results don’t show it, but he is getting really close to being able to run that pace for 20 laps. He’ll be ready for Grand Rapids.” Jackson also made both mains, while Draper maintained his “streak” of making all of his mains since returning from injury.
The squad is currently entertaining options of some practice at Minnesota’s SandBox or a SX facility in Oklahoma as a final tune up for the Michigan opener.

From their Website: Peterson Racing Promotions started out as a dream in Doc’s head that with a little convincing to Dustin and Jesse turned into a reality. The previous several years we had attended many motocross and supercross races around the country and saw firsthand how things were run. Whether it was right or wrong, we mentally had taken notes on what we would had liked and what we would’ve’e done different. The winter of 2001 was the first ever trial run as the Peterson’s reserved the Swiftel Center and started hauling in dirt. From that day forward we have prided ourselves on holding family-orientated events that give people something to get off their couches for whether it is summer or winter. We have hosted several events from the South Dakota State Fair, to Applefest in Minnesota, the Sioux Empire Fair, and of course the biggest event ever held in the Swiftel Center, the Midwest Supercross. In a nutshell, we are a small-town family that loves the sport and are proud to give back to it all we can in our area.
